Traditional Bowhunting Season

The Arizona Game and Fish Commission proposes to amend rules within Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 in an effort to implement Commission-approved recommendations resulting from the most recent Article 3 Five-year Review Report.

The Department accepted written comments for 30 days following the May 2023 publication of the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in the Arizona Administrative Register. 

The Game and Fish Commission will accept oral comments at the Commission Meeting being held September 8, 2023 in Greer Arizona. The exact time and location of the meeting will be updated as soon as we find out. Please take the time to give your input on the proposed changes. This is a huge opportunity to preserve bowhunting and create more opportunity for bowhunters by creating a new Traditional Bowhunting Season.
